Tosa IT firm Omni Resources acquired by Chicago’s Saggezza

Omni Resources Inc., a Wauwatosa-based IT consulting, talent and software development company, has been acquired by Saggezza, a Chicago-based data analytics company.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Omni has strong roots in the Wisconsin area, and they’re the perfect partner for us,” said Arvind Kapur, CEO of Saggezza, in a statement. “With this expansion, Omni and its customers will benefit from Saggezza’s strategic leadership and global experience, all while adding a whole new library of technical resources and skilled individuals to our team.”
Founded in 1984, Omni Resources employs more than 50 people and has a secondary office in Appleton, according to its LinkedIn profile. It will continue operating from its Wauwatosa office as a Saggezza company.
“Our customers are going to be interacting with the same friendly faces they’ve been working with for years, but now they’re going to have the tools, global insights and technical leadership of Saggezza behind us,” Brent Otto, chief financial officer of Omni, said in a statement.
Saggezza has U.S. offices in Chicago, Milwaukee and Santa Clara, California, in addition to international offices. Founded in 2006, Saggezza uses data analytics to help companies in finance, retail, business services and telecoms industries.
