Saggezza Boosts Sunderland Office as Contract with Global Bank Extended
The US tech firm has hired a team of 10 developers in the North East

A global technology business has boosted its offering in the North East after creating a new team in Sunderland.
Saggezza has created the new team after hiring 10 members of staff at its office at Sunderland Software Centre.
The group of 10 java developers will be dedicated to supporting Saggezza’s work with a global investment bank. Saggezza has been working with the client for some time but its contract has recently been extended.
The company has said it could create more jobs in the region if the team’s work proves successful. Saggezza is already planning on doubling its headcount this year.

It’s hugely rewarding when clients come to us with an additional tech requirement, because it proves how highly they value our work and so it’s key that we are able to meet their needs.

Work on the new project will launch over the next few weeks, with the 10 new starters supported by the company’s existing team.
Saggezza opened its Sunderland office in 2014 and has recently recruited a number of graduates to fuel its expansion. The US-headquartered firm also has two offices in India.

On top of the company’s growth in the UK, Sagezza has also expanded in the US after it acquired technology consulting firm Omni. The Milwaukee-headquartered firm serves clients in Wisconsin and Iowa.
