Saggezza Recipe: CJ’s Stuffed Grape Leaves


  • Orlando California Grapes Leaves, 16 Ounce
  • 3 lbs of ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Cinnamon 
  • 10 garlic cloves smashed 
  • 1.5 cup of Uncle Ben’s White Rice washed until water runs clear 
  • Salt 
  • Pepper
  • 6-8 lemons


Grab a golf ball size of meat and roll into a log, place it at the bottom of the grape leaf and wrap it like you would a burrito. Do this until all the meat is gone and then layer it in a deep baking dish. Once you layer the grape leaves in the pan throw in the smashed garlic and cover 1.5 cups of lemon juice and the rest water. Layer the top of the pan with sliced lemons. Cover and bake at 375 for 1.5 hours or until meat and leaves are tender and cooked through.
