Saggezza launches Leadership Programme to accelerate career opportunities

Saggezza is delighted to announce the launch of its Leadership Programme, designed to give Saggezzians the opportunity to connect with senior leaders, take part in a series of leadership courses and visualise a clear career path within the company.

The 10-week long programme kicked off at the start of October, with more than 30 employees taking part to support their growth and career development.

What is the Saggezza Leadership Programme?

Saggezza continues to grow year-on-year, which naturally means we have more people, more teams and a greater need for leadership roles.

At the beginning of this year, we celebrated the recruitment of our 100th employee in the UK and have continued to grow and restructure since, which has enabled us to consider how we think about management and the ways in which we can help our employees progress and develop their skills.

The Leadership Programme is made up of sessions with senior leaders within the company, as well as Udemy courses to expand upon these sessions and provide participants with a clear view of what it takes to work in a leadership role and learn more about the Saggezza way.

Each week will cover a different topic, from communication fundamentals and employee engagement, through to diversity, equality and inclusion and conflict management. Starting with 30-60 minute sessions with senior leaders, employees will then have a Udemy course to complete which will provide further information on each topic.

How will the Leadership Programme benefit Saggezzians?

Our aim is for the Leadership Programme to ensure our employees feel supported in their roles and provide structure around what we want leaders to do within the company and for their teams.

Whether someone has joined Saggezza with experience from another company or has progressed from a lower-level role, the programme will ensure everyone is on the same page and understands how they can excel at their job, as well as showcase the opportunities available across the company.

It will also give employees on the programme exposure to more strategic business activities and a chance to collaborate and work with people they may have never worked with before. For example, one task includes a senior leader setting a group task and providing participants with a request for proposal (RFP), which they will then have to collaborate on to come up with a solution and proposal.
