Here are the 50 Best Places to Work in the North East for 2019

Northumbrian Water tops the list of Best Places to Work in the region in initiative organised by The Journal.
The 50 Best Places to Work in the North East for 2019 have been named.
Companies from around the region submitted entries in the Journal competition, with organisations scoring each entry on factors including policies for staff development, community involvement, perks and bonuses, and looking after workers’ physical and mental health.
The initiative is part of ncjMedia’s Invest in the North East campaign, which aims to make the North East a better place in which to live and work.
Northumbrian Water topped this year’s lists after judges highlighted its commitment to North East communities, excellent staff development policies and long list of employee perks.
The top five was rounded off by Newcastle Building Society, Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust, Home Group and Ubisoft, with the table unveiled at an awards night held at Newcastle’s Biscuit Factory.
