Right now that means we're using agile methodologies to help some of our clients solve software development challenges. And we're building a center-of-excellence for Big Data technologies like Apache Hadoop, Mahout and Cassandra, along with Hbase and Hypertable, some of which are becoming the tool of choice for real-time business analytics and informatics.
How do we make sure we're on top of trends in emerging technologies? Firstly, we have a dedicated Technology Office in Silicon Valley. The team there works tirelessly to test out new technologies and techniques as they emerge, and to research leading technology organizations' reactions to trends, so that we can form an opinion on what is going to work and what isn't. And once we feel that a technology is going to be able to bring significant value to our clients, we make sure we build strong competencies in analysis, design and implementation of solutions. Secondly, Saggezza is a listening organization. Our diverse client base and global presence mean that all of our teams are immersed in the implementation of and reaction to new technologies.
